More than just a taxi meter
The Cabman MDT is the full-screen data terminal that offers the total package. From keeping track of driving and rest times to driving trips on the taximeter, it is easily possible with the MDT. Via the mobile data terminal, you can easily start, stop and unload rides. Here, the on-board computer records the start and stop locations. You can also use data communication to receive trips from different clients. Even when these clients use a diary package from a different supplier.
Surcharges, discounts and printing
As well as allowing you to keep track of all information related to working and rest times, the MDT also offers the possibility to register things like tips and surcharges for suitcases, for example. It is also possible to correctly process rides with a price agreement and you can easily give a discount on a ride via the discount button.
Did you then pay for the ride? Then you can easily print out a ride receipt with the Cabman Basic Printer. This is easily linked to the MDT.
Navigation and telephony
Did you know that the MDT also allows you to easily navigate to your next destination? Using the navigation module, you can navigate to the next pick-up address directly from the ride. Of course, it is also possible to enter an address manually.
It is also possible to make phone calls via data terminal. Using the telephone application, you can make (anonymous) calls to customers, without the need for a separate telephone.
Accepting debit and credit card payments quickly and easily
PIN payments in a taxi are an indispensable service. That is why it is possible to link the Cabman MDT to a pinterminal from myPOS, for example. The myPOS terminals make it possible to pay with all debit and credit cards. Every payment is guaranteed safe, and by linking to MDT you can see the payment directly in the MDT.
See your trip logs easily
When you purchase a Cabman MDT, you get free access to our online platform Cabman Data. In Cabman Data, you can see an enormous amount of data from your MDT. This includes your entire trip registration and overview of your services. The portal also gives you access to a live view of your vehicles, so you always have insight into their location data.
Also suitable for your financial administration
You can easily export all data from Cabman Data. This is useful for example when passing on data for your sales tax or other financial matters. You can also view all payments via the platform. Do you have several cars driving for your company? Then you can also use the data from the online portal to manage your fleet.
Also connectable to your roof light
Did you know that the MDT can also be linked to a roof light? This connection makes it possible, among other things, to automatically switch off the roof light when you start a ride. Cabman also makes it easy to purchase a roof light. We work with, among others, our partner Barclay for this.
How well does your service score?
With Cabman Driver Ratings, customers can easily rate your services. The new tool gives you insight into the service drivers offer their passengers. So you can be sure that your company offers the service you aspire to.
Cabman Driver Ratings works very simply. You provide the vehicle with a sticker with a QR code. This QR code is linked to the vehicle and is easy to scan with the mobile phone. The customer is then given the option to pass on the number of stars. The customer can rate the driver only once and you can view the results via Cabman Data.
