Cabman Driver App

The app that makes it easy to receive, start and end rides

Cabman Driver App is the app specially developed for self-employed drivers. Drivers can easily receive, start and end journeys via the app. Users can also report trips and communicate with the dispatch centre or back office via the app. The app is suitable for various types of transport and works simply and intuitively.

Please note that if you drive with blue license plates in the Netherlands, the app can currently only be used in combination with a working MDT. Otherwise, you do not meet the conditions of the current legislation. Do you drive with yellow license plates? Then only the app is sufficient

Easily receive trips

The ride is sent from the calendar package of choice directly to the app then the drivers can confirm it. When the driver has pressed confirm, the control centre receives this confirmation back and the journeys, as shown in the image below, are displayed in the trip screen.

Starting tours

In the clear trip screen, all trips are displayed with the scheduled time, passenger name and address. Here boarding and alighting are displayed separately, just like in the MDT. This allows the driver to keep an overview and complete the list. When the driver wants to start a trip, he presses the passenger and is asked if he is sure he wants to start the trip.

Ending and paying for rides

Terminating and settling rides is also easy via the app. The driver clicks on the right passenger and then he can end the ride after answering the confirmation question. He is then redirected to the payment screen where he can settle the ride through various payment methods. Currently, it is possible to pay by cash, on account or using a QR code.

Messages

Besides the fact that all trip processing can be done by the driver via the app, it is also possible to send and receive messages from the control centre via the app. This way, the driver is always in contact with the dispatch centre and vice versa. This makes quick switching and good communication a lot easier.
