Cabman Smart Vehicle is specifically designed for companies that want insight into drivers’ driving behaviour. Not only whether they are transporting passengers safely, but also how sustainably they are doing so. The product series consists of three separate modules that you can easily combine.

Cabman Driving style analysis

You may already know Cabman Driving Style Analysis from us and it is now covered by Cabman Smart Vehicle. Cabman Driving Style Analysis for the Cabman BCT or MDT gives you insight into your drivers’ driving behaviour through comprehensive driving style analysis. All data is collected by the data terminal and fed back to an online portal. In addition, Cabman Driving Style Analysis feeds back scores during and after the shift via the BCT or MDT to the driver. Drivers receive report marks based on the national average and you get information on the following aspects:

Braking behaviour;
Speed when cornering;

You do not need any additional hardware for this module and it can be easily switched on.

Cabman Driving style analysis+

Cabman Driving Style Analysis+ works using a CAN interface. This is a box placed in the vehicle. The box can read out more information than our BCT or MDT can, allowing you to monitor even more signals from your vehicles. With Driving style analysis+, you can read out the signals below, among others:

Braking behaviour;
Speed when cornering;
Fuel consumption.

The driver receives continuous feedback on his or her driving behaviour. We do this using the icon in the top corner of the MDT and by giving report marks back.

At the end of each shift, the driver receives a summary of her or his scores. Transparent and clear feedback that a driver can easily work with.

Clear warnings at the moment of a dangerous driving style. These warnings include braking too hard or speeding when cornering.

Cabman Vehicle data

When you choose Cabman Vehicle Data, you need to use a CAN interface. Cabman Vehicle Data allows you to read a wide variety of signals and feed them back to an online dashboard. For example, you can read out the following signals:

State of charge (electric vehicles);
Seat sensors;
Seat belt sensors;
Distance sensors.
