Payment by PIN is now possible in most taxis. But in addition to debit card payments, Cabman, in cooperation with myPOS, is now also making it possible to pay by means of a QR code. This way, drivers can make payments even faster and easier.
How does paying by QR code work? The BCT communicates the payment to the BCT Remote app, which creates a QR code. The customer can then scan this code and simply pay via his or her phone using the digital payment method of his or her choice. Once the customer has paid, this is communicated back to the app and the BCT.
Flexible payment
As an entrepreneur, you can offer even more flexibility by using this new payment method. Customers can pay in the way they find most convenient. Whether this is in cash, via a myPOS payment terminal or QR code.
BCT Remote
In addition to this new payment method, BCT Remote also offers many other functions. For instance, it is easier for drivers to view, accept and log trips via the app. It is also possible to chat with the control centre and, with one push of a button, navigate to the correct destination using your favourite navigation app. It is also possible to inform the driver of his planned trips, for example the day before.
