Anytime, anywhere access to the latest trip information via your smartphone. That’s what our Cabman Remote app offers you. The app has been in the app stores since 2019, but it’s had quite a few upgrades over the years. Want to know exactly what you can do with the app? We will be more than happy to explain it to you.

The idea for the Remote app came from the fact that many drivers regularly leave their car for a moment, for example to pick up a passenger at the hospital or to look for the right customer on a plane. When they are out of the car, they do not have access to the information sent to them by the dispatch centre, which can make it difficult to find the right person or to communicate with the dispatch centre. The Cabman Remote application solves this problem.

In fact, Cabman Remote allows you to receive, accept and loop rides via your smartphone. You can also use the messaging function to communicate with the control centre and view additional information such as a flight number or gate at an airport.

Navigate to the right address

Cabman Remote also makes it easy to navigate to your next destination via your smartphone. When you click on an address in the app, it immediately switches to the navigation app of your choice. The address is then entered immediately and all you have to do is start the navigation. There’s no need to re-enter addresses, which saves time and reduces the risk of typos. You can choose from Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps.

New features

At Cabman, we believe it is important to continually improve our services. That is why the Remote app is regularly updated with new features. Last summer, for example, we launched a new break tracking feature. This makes it even easier for drivers to keep track of their breaks. You can also let customers pay using a QR code, and it is possible to send pre-planned trips from Cabman Centrale to the Remote app.
