The end of the year also always asks for some reflection on the past year. At Cabman, we do just that every year. 2022 was an eventful year for Euphoria. We started the year with the news that Toshin Tjin-A-Sie and Vincent Bekker joined Euphoria Software’s shareholders. We also welcomed investor Plain Vanilla with whom we intend to continue to grow in 2023.
MyRoute
It was a flying start to the new year and we managed to continue this throughout the year. In February, for instance, we launched our MyRoute app. This app is specially developed for parents and transporters of children who use pupil transport. The app is now widely used and we look forward to developing it even further in 2023.
Cabman Data Studio Live
Then a month later, in March, we were allowed to announce the arrival of Cabman Data Studio Live. This allowed us to display not only historical data in an orderly manner, but also live data. By linking to the calendar package, current data can also be viewed in the dashboard.
Exhibitions
We were also able to exhibit at many trade fairs again this year. You could find us at the following trade fairs this year: The MENA Transport Congress & Exhibition in Dubai, IT-Trans 2022 in Karlsruhe, TAKSI2022 in Jyväskylä (Finland), Feria del Taxi 2022 in Madrid, TaxiExpo 2022 in Houten, Personentrafik 2022 in Stockholm and the Europäsche Taximesse 2022 in Essen. We were delighted to welcome our customers and partners back to our stand.
Foreign customers
We were also able to welcome a number of new customers this year including some in Finland. For example, taxi company Menevä opted for Cabman data terminals. The number of customers in Belgium also increased in 2022 and the number of vehicles with our equipment in Ajman continued to grow.
Team Euphoria
It was not only in terms of customers that we were allowed to grow last year. Our Euphoria team also expanded considerably in 2022. We welcomed an additional six new colleagues, and we hope to welcome more new team members in the new year as well.
Cabman MDT
Finally, after years of development, we were finally able to present our Cabman MDT to you this year. In July, we received the RDW type approval and the Cabman MDT has been available since then. We have already been able to fit a nice number of vehicles with a Cabman MDT in the months that followed and hope to expand this again in 2023. We also launched the extended trade-in programme whereby you receive a discount on your MDT in exchange for your old BCT.
What to expect in 2023?
In 2023, we will again work hard to support our customers as best we can with our service and products. We want to further expand existing products and are working hard behind the scenes on new features and smart solutions
